We learned from our last trip to Disney, that it's almost impossible to eat anywhere but in a fast food type setting without a reservation. Once you have your resort reservations secured online, you can make dining reservations as early as 180 days before your arrival. We only made our resort reservation about 90 days before our arrival, so there were limited choices when it came to character dining. I was able to secure us a reservation for lunch at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, where you get to eat with Pooh and his pals. Even with the reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The Crystal Palace was a nice setup because it was buffet style, so you could get up and get what you wanted at any point. Plus, the characters were constantly making the rounds, so they came to you at your table. That way, you can relax and eat, and not have to wait in line to see them.
Pooh came by when I was getting food. Thankfully, we'd met him before we came in to lunch or I might have been a little upset.
It's a little blurry, but it's the best we could get with Brady looking.
Here comes Tigger! Who do you think is more excited in this pic, mommy or Brady?
Sharing some cookie with Tigger.
Waiting patiently for Eeyore to make his way to our table.
Brady tries to give Eeyore a drink. Don't worry, the cup is empty.
At the entrance they had the Winnie the Pooh characters made entirely out of flowers. They also decorated them for Christmas :)
