It's pretty safe to say that Brady's two best friends are Sam and Ainsley Reese. He's known Ainsley since he was five months old and Sam was born when he was one. He gets so excited any time he knows he's going to see them. Ainsley was in school this year, but now that it's summer, we are able to get together a lot more.
Bethany and I get the kids together often, but we try to have the guys join us when we can, which happens every couple of months. We had them over to our house for dinner a few weeks ago. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to break out the water table the Easter Bunny brought Brady.

The day before the Fourth of July, we decided to take the kids to the Detroit Zoo. It was supposed to be in the 70s, but of course, the sun made it feel much hotter. You can see the animal in the enclosure behind them sitting in a pool himself.
Like the Pittsburgh Zoo, they have an exhibit where there's a tub underneath the polar bear exhibit. Whenever we've gone to the one in Pittsburgh, the bears haven't been swimming. We got really lucky that they decided to jump in this particular day in Detroit.
Brady of course loved it.
Getting all three kids looking is usually pretty hard, but sometimes we get lucky. Ainsley will be in full-day kindergarten next year, Brady will be in preschool a few mornings a week, and Sam will be in a mom and tot class once a week. It'll be sad not being able to get all four kids together whenever we meet up. We'll have to plan fun things for the weekends so they can all be reunited once in a while.
