We had gone to the San Diego Zoo on our last day in California and had a flight out of Los Angeles at midnight. The zoo closed at 5PM, and we were done by 4PM. It's a two hour drive between the two cities, so we had plenty of time to spare. After our fun experience trying to contain the kids while sitting on the runway on the flight out, we weren't in any hurry to be at the airport many hours early. We had thrown around a few ideas of things to kill the time and I suggested we head to Hollywood. I had been there 20 years ago and knew Andy might enjoy it.
One of the fun parts about the walk of fame is checking out all the hand/footprints made my famous people. I was there last in 1994, so many of the ones we saw weren't there during my last trip and a lot of the people were unknown back then.
They have all kinds of characters out on the walk. Andy figures that's where all the actors trying to make it hang out lol.
We had dinner at Hard Rock and by the time we were done, the sun had gone down. Here is TCL Chinese Theatre lit up at night.
The Roosevelt Hotel. This concludes our California trip. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again!
